How much clear height do stilt walkers need?

More than you'd expect, since the artist adds the stilt height to their own and needs room to move. Before confirming we check ceiling height, chandeliers and flown structures along the planned route.

Can they perform outdoors or only inside?

Both. They work very well at entrances, on terraces and in parades, and indoors where there is height. What we do need is a firm floor, with no sharp level changes or loose cabling on their route.
