Mirror characters are performers covered in thousands of mirror pieces. They carry no light of their own: they reflect whatever is already in the room, so every spot, every laser and every screen at the event bounces off them and multiplies. It is the most chameleonic format in the catalogue, because it changes colour with each venue's lighting without touching a thing.

A family of characters, not a single act

The line-up is built to order: a mirrored spaceman with helmet and backpack, LED helmets with remote control in gold or silver, a television head with a built-in screen, a long mirror gown for a singer or host, a dancer in a mirrored tutu, and animal heads such as the rabbit for a more surreal tone. You can book a single character as a welcome detail, or a full cast that runs through the whole event.

What they do during the event

They work as presence and as short sets. At the welcome they take positions at entrances and circulation areas, posing and interacting; during the party they perform short choreographed sets and mark specific moments, such as a course being served or a DJ taking over. With no text or language involved they fit international events equally well, and since the mirrors hand guests their own reflection, the photo almost takes itself.

What they need

Very little: a circulation area or stage, a dressing room nearby and, for the LED characters, a power socket for charging. What does matter is the lighting. The more directional and contrasted it is, the better the mirrors respond; in a flat, brightly lit room they lose sparkle. How many mirror characters can I book?

Do the costumes light up?

Some do, some don't. The pure mirror characters reflect the room's light, and there are LED versions with colour and remote control that do emit light. Those need a power socket near the dressing room.

Do they work in a brightly lit room?

They work best with directional, contrasted light such as spots, laser or screens. Under flat general lighting the mirrors reflect less and the effect drops. If your venue is very bright we check it and adjust when the set runs.
