Luminous Jellyfish — entertainment for corporate events

Luminous Jellyfish is a walking parade that turns a street, a garden or a venue entrance into a seabed. Each performer carries a giant illuminated jellyfish that opens above their head, with fabric tentacles falling and moving as they walk. The costumes are white and translucent, the light shifts colour, and the group advances slowly, letting the audience walk in among them.

Why it works after dark

This format is built for low light. As soon as the light drops, the jellyfish become the only source of colour in the space and the effect is immediate: people reach for their phones. That's why we programme it for guest arrivals, for moving an audience from one space to another — cocktail to dinner, entrance to stage — or as roaming entertainment during an outdoor party.

How the sets are structured

It works as short sets spread across the event rather than one long act. The usual structure for this kind of performance is four sets of around fifteen minutes, with up to three costume changes when the event calls for more than one look. There is also a red version, which completely changes the mood of the scene: the same silhouette, but a far more intense atmosphere.

Where it fits

It works outdoors and indoors where there is enough height, since the jellyfish adds considerable height above the performer. It suits sea-themed parties, summer events, openings and street parades.
